Tough Solar Light,
November 20, 2008

"I was skeptical that an inexpensive solar-powered light would stand up to the daily rigors of a construction site. For the past several months, I have been rebuilding a house in Iowa that was flooded and had no electricity. The Sunforce Solar Spotlight just keeps going and going. It charges quickly in the sun. It can also be plugged into an electrical outlet and charged. The led bulb is significantly brighter than a conventional flashlight and lasts much longer. The built-in solar panel flips up and can be set at the optimum angle for catching sunlight. I have dropped my Sunforce in the mud and banged it around for months and it's always ready for work when I need it. My only complaint is that to charge it from an outlet, there is an awkward procedure for opening the light to get at the connection. But I've never needed to use that feature. I would highly recommend the Sunforce light."

Good Solid Spotlight,

"I like the light. It's nice and bright, but it won't blind you. It's also easy to carry. The adjustable handle is convenient. I have a bigger, brighter spot that is just a pain to carry around. I don't have that problem with this one."

"I feel that this is another example of a great value from Northern Tool. I own maglights, streamlights, "lightboxes", and many others. This light really delivers. It is bright, light and quality ! Buy one for the car, truck, boat, trailer, shop... I own a towing service. My drivers love the light. On my heavy wreckers I put one on each side in the tool boxes. My smaller units have one in the cab, you cant go wrong."
