Handy utility light,
April 14, 2008

"I was looking for a bright, inexpensive portable light for my camper and this unit filled the bill. It is easy to operate, gives a good, useable light and mounts easily in the camper. I can also use it outside on an awning or shelter. For the price, it is a great value!"

Great icefishing light,

"I bought two of the 48-LED utility lights for my icefishing tent. One would be enough but two is better if you need to change lures. Great battery life."

Great Utility Light!,
January 24, 2008

"First, I'm glad I read MisterBill's review that told how to open this light to access the batteries. It isn't marked, nor obvious. That said, the light is quite bright and will make a great trouble light.
It has magnets that will hold it to a flat steel surface. It also has a loop which can be used to hang it. The only drawback I see is that the hanging loop is not permanently attached and is easily lost.
This compact light puts out a lot of light. It's slim enough to slide into tight spots, doesn't get hot to the touch, and lasts for many hours on 3 batteries.
I am very pleased with this product."

LED WORK LIGHT,
January 21, 2008

"I bought 2 of these lights to use in my portable ice shack. WOW! They put out great light for night fishing in the hut. Their light, easy packable, have hanging bracket on them or can use the magnets. GREAT PRODUCT! I have told friends of them and wanted to see them work, very impressive they thought. Also the led's power consumption is hardly nothing and the 3 double A batteries should last for a long time. Buy it, you won't regrett it!!"

This is how it should be...,

"I heard about these lights from another ice fisherman (to be used at night in an ice shelter). They are 10 times better that the "rope lights" sold at sporting goods stores, and cheaper.
Also, the transaction was flawless. Excellent ordering process, excellent communication on their part, very fast shipping and the lights were well-packed.
I can easily give both the lights and Northern Tool 5 stars."

A word of caution,
December 12, 2007
By MisterBill

"Great little light! CAUTION: Does not come with directions to open. Slot on side appears intended to use screwdriver to pry it open. This works but will break it. Use epoxy to repair. Once open you will see that the halves twist apart when held between your two palms. Remove plastic insulator from the included C-Zn batteriies inside. If you pried it open, after your repair sets, reassemble, turn on, and see an amazing amount of light for three AA batts. Instead of the package saying "batteries not included" when they are, it should have said: "Twist to open." I'm going to buy a couple more. Now that I know how to get at its insides, it gets five stars."
