Excellent Drop Light,
November 17, 2008
By Ramrn7from Abiongdon, VA
"I bought this to go in the garage as a true drop light. It was easy to mount and gives off adequate lighting. I have had ogther drop shop lights that were brighter btut not as ruggedly built and you had to keep replacing the bulbs. I would recommend this light to anyone who needs a drop down shop light. A big plus is the light in the end as well as the hanger."

"1. I like the fact no bulb exposed to brake. 2. Plug built in to unit great feature. Most flourescents do not have this feature. 3. Comes with hooks and Magnet to allow easy hanging."

"This was a gift for my son however we have all used it. I really like it because it works great and it can be up out of the way when not in use. My family does a lot of work in the garage and this comes in very handy. We have tried similier items but this one is better."

"This is a fine light ,my only reason for a 4 star is because of the reel, the case does not seem to be large enough or the cord needs to be of a lighter gage because when it comes time to reel it in I realy have to work the cord to get is to all reel back up in to the case."

Bayco 40' retractable light,
May 31, 2007
By JoePfrom Amesbury, MA
"I ordered this light because it is steel housed, 40' cord length, and durability of fluorescent. I was slightly worried when I opened the box and it was crushed- but my concern was quickly set aside... The thing appears near bullet proof. The light has a flimsy looking hook, but is actually very functional and plenty strong enough. Also included was a magnetic type hook, which holds very well under the hood. It installed very easily with a nice mount- Which leads to my only complaint- the light unlike others types, does not swivel. With the 40' cord, this will not be an issue in my garage, but one that others might have an issue with. All said and done- I highly recommend it, and will be buying 2 more as I complete my dream garage."
