An excellent upgrade from sleeve-bushing wheels,

"I used these ball-bearing hubs to convert my garden tractor from sleeve-bushing front wheels. They work perfectly for this, and roll much more freely than the original equipment hubs. I have already referred several other garden tractor restorers to these hubs."

Light duty bearings,
March 29, 2008
By MnRagnarfrom Minneapolis, Minnesota
"The hubs are fine for light duty use. The included flange bearings are a light duty design and NOT sealed. I've used these hubs on a lawn tractor for half-a-dozen years before bearing failure. (very low speed application)
I'm now looking for replacement or upgrade bearings for the supplied Freeway Corporation #ASF-O-108-6 bearings.
If you're going to use these in a more abusive application.... use something else!"

Solid hub with bearings,
March 7, 2007
By Douglasfrom Bowling Green, OH
"I have installed these hubs but have not run them since the project is not finished. They come complete and are easy to install. Don't forget, these come in pairs (the solid axle flange is sold individually). I ended up with two sets. I will probably use the extra pair to mount a jack shaft."
