"this works o.k. with standard intermittent use, but if you want to jam on your cart this clutch will only last 15 minutes of use. ive burned up two and am ordering a third, this 1" bore clutch should be made to dissipate heat better, for go-kart applications. i am usig a 8 h.p. briggs, 60 tooth final drive, with 18" tread. the little 3/4" bore clutches seem to be a little more "application specific". I would pay more money for a little better engineerd product."

"i purchased this clutch not thinking it was going 2 help much but as i put it on that 7 1/2 hp motor my gokart was flying i enjoy it very much my little cuzins are always over riding my go kart and since i have a small budget 4 the kart i cant afford the whole farward, neutral, reverse gear box there too expensive and especially on such a small kart this product worked a thousand times better than i would have hoped 4 thank u very much northern tool.
