Excellent, could be much better,

"Excellent workmanship, I have had it for 2 years and ridden it hard, it does everything as advertized. The throttle could have been made more sturdy, the plastic max limiter broke simply from holding on to the handlebar over rough terrain, I fabricated a piece out of aluminum and screwed it on and it works fine.
This scooter is a toy rather than serious transportation, justifiably so considering the price, it still is a lot of fun for the money.
In my opinion Schwinn can have a real hit at 2.5 times the price with the following modifications: 1. Add suspension as on a previous model now discontinued. 2. Add ample mudguards and weatherproof the battery compartment and electronic controls. 3. Larger more comfortable seat with front brake, headlight and rear break light. 4. Double the motor powe for more speed. 5. Triple or quadruple battery capacity for more speed and range. There is plenty of battery room vertically from the current compartment, footrests can be on the side with comfort. 6. A storage compartment or a second seat behind the rider. 7. An instrument pod with a few gauges would be nice.
The result would be a serious commuter electric bike in the $750-800 range."
