Best Heat Around,
November 2, 2009
By Bford
from Northern Idaho
|
"We have struggled for the past winters on how to best heat our 1000 sq. ft. cabin. This does the trick and efficiently! It does create some moisture in the air but that is it's only downfall. We have recommended to friends and they love it as well. Great product at a great price. Very easy install."

"We purchased this heater for our cabin which only had a fireplace for heat. We installed this heater in the spring of 2008. It was an easy flawless install. We even set up an extra turn off valve on our enclosed deck to be able to move the heater from inside to outside on cool summer evenings. It is very easy to move from one area to another. We have been impressed on the efficiency of this heater and the incredible amount of heat it puts out. We typically operate this on 3 bricks and find there is more than enough heat. We have had absolutely no problems with the heater. This is a definite winner in my book!!!"

getting toasty,
November 2, 2009
By warminmemphis

"Put two of these in my house to help cut down on gas usage. Work great, added the fans to them the auto side of the fans seem to take a bit of time to work, but all in all, between the two units with fans house is toasty. Had no problems with pilot light, knob could turn a little easier, the optional legs attach easy, so does fan. I would recomeend these units to anyone, I am very pleased with mine."

Secondary heat,
July 13, 2009
By Paramountfarms
from Northern North Dakota

"I purchased the heater to provide secondary heat in the back rooms of my wifes shop. I wanted something small with simple operation that would get the job done. There are three rooms with out heat and two of them have an exterior wall (one upstair of the other). their sizes are 15x15, 15x20 and 20x20, with large doorways connecting them.
This little heater fit the bill perfectly. I connected a small 20lb propane bottle (to make it more portable) and regluator. I know that the instructions say to use a 100lb or larger but I have not had any issues. Even on -20 degree days it keeps all three rooms warm. It works so well that after the rooms warm up you have to turn it way down. I would recommend this for anyone that has a small work space they need to heat but don't have the ability to vent it.
The down side is the piezio ignitor is kind of tempermental. It also has a slight odor when you first fire it up but that goes away in a few minutes. And I think the optional fan would have really added to it's ability."

Radiant heater,

By 3harleybill

"The heater puts out nice heat. The thing that I don't like about it, is the controls. The control knob is quite hard to turn and the push button ignitor is hard to push. I guess I should call the manufacturer to see what they suggest."

Good Value,
March 16, 2009
By Ron26

"A lot of heater for the price. Only problem is the fan sometimes blows out the pilot. Manufactuer has promised a shield that has not arrived yet. You need the fan for circulation or else there is too much concentrated heat at the source."
