"I look forward to using this for some time to come. Seems very rugged and well built. The jaws tilt, which is nice, and have a degree wheel for setting angles..... but there is no marker to align the degree wheel to!! Thats the only problem I've seen."

"This is a great vise. It's far better than I thought it would be, especially considering the price. Since I purchased it from the catalog, I wasn't exactly sure what I was getting. The picture looks good on the Northern Tool website, but a guy just never knows for sure until he gets the box open.

Folks, the picture is exactly correct. This isn't some crude casting that's been ground down and painted. Every part is finely crafted and finished. It's a very heavy, well designed vise.

For those of you, like me, who were wondering how big the mounting plate is......This vise will fit on a metal plate measuring 8 inches square, with plenty of room for your mounting bolts.. It has four mounting holes, each accepting a 1/2" diameter bolt.

You will not be disappointed with the fit, finish, or quality. The best vise for the money on the market. Nobody provides a vise of this quality for the price."

"I bought this vise to replace a smaller Mechanics vise I had that was not heavy duty. I have been extremely satisfied with this vise and it's features, the rotating head is a very handy feature, I would recommend this vise to anyone."

"Everyone should own one of these!!! I use mine every day with flat iron and pipe and it holds both easily!!! Its very nice to have one that changes angles too, very useful when fabing small parts or working on small items like carbs. i tell everyone where to get one for themselves!!!!! thanks northern!!!"

"What a great and well made vice! Incredibly durable and well made. This vice is as good or better than units that cost 2-3 times more. Silky smooth operation, very accurate measurements on the 2 included tape measures and a real pleasure to own. The finish looks bulletproof and can be mounted on a truck bumper for field use. What a bargain! I would reccomment this vice to anyone that wants a durable incredible unit that will outlast themselves"
