"I just received the pen today. It works great. I have already used it to engrave metal, plastic, wood, and glass. I would rate it with my greatest purchases below $5. It works extremely well for labeling engine parts. It is also detailed enough to do fine work on small stuff like crafts or delicate objects."

THE PEN DID NOT WORK, October 24, 2009

"I ordered the pen,when it got hear I was not able to open box that day.
Two weeks went by before I open the box. I put batteries in it and it did not work. I would have like to send it back to get a refund, but I did not have time . The pen is no good, Don,t waist your time or money."

"As expected it was low power. It was lower power than expected.
Hard to control. Barely engraved aluminum. Probably okay for plastics."

"so far i have used this to engrave all my tools and it works great but the only thing is that you need rechargeable batteries because the regular batteries die very fast"
