"Since owning this set I have found it to be one of the strongest brass punch set I have either owned or used. It resists knurling and chipping better than many others I have ever used so I give it top rating for that safety factor in and of itself. Not to mention as always with Northern's tools the price is very affordable for the quality of tool that you can get."

"This is a great deal on a set of brass punches. They are soft enough to prevent damage to metal yet strong enough to easily pound in bearing races and other automotive parts. The set has several sizes which was nice because I use all three for various projects. I used these punches to replace bearings on the front axle of a 1997 Land Cruiser. I could not have done the job without these. This is by far the best deal for quality brass punches/ brass drifts on the internet."
