Tool is nice, however, I didn't use it for metal.,

"Let me start with the fact that I did not use this tool on metal. It was used to put imprints (letters and numbers) in wood and clay. However, the tool is very well made, the pieces are well set up in the strong case and the the bits lock nicely into the tool. I doubt you could use this tool for mass production, but I see no reason it would not work well for stamping metal or any other surface.
The quality of the tool, its parts and the case is very impressive."

The Stamp Tool Used To Hold The Stamp!!!!!!!!,

"The tool used to hold the numeric or alpha stamp is not steady enough for you to hold it and hammer the character in one spot, it moves constantly. But the 36 character stamps comes in handy when you trying to number pistons in and engine during breakdown."
