Job made easier,
November 2, 2009
By weedsprayer
|
"It sure has made things faster and easier with spraying weeds around the ranch. It holds a lot of gallons to go from field to field. The only thing that they could improve would be the valve for the broadcast wand, and to better water proof the switch for the pump. But other than those things, it sure has been a usefull sprayer."

"Use this sprayer alone and in conjunction with a boom kit mounted on rear of a golf cart. Excellent coverage. Also used for cleaning vinyl siding. Recommend to anyone who has more than a little spraying to do."

NorthStar ATV Broadcast Spot Sprayer — 26 Gallon,,
October 20, 2009
By KyleG

"Shipping from Northern Tool + Equipment was light speed fast. The item arrived with a broken spray nozzle which NorthStar replaced immediately, no questions asked. The sprayer worked flawlessly and performed as described. I used it to spray for broad leaf control and fertilize my lawn. Grass is now greener then ever and no weeds."

atv sprayer,

By Stubby

"I have used it several times as both a broadcast and spot sprayer with good results. I would add as most have that you would want to use better straps to hold it to your atv. I did not give it 5 stars because of a fit problem with the drain plug. i added a rubber gasket to seal it and it now does not leak."

Great Sprayer,

By rustybuck

"I received this sprayer last night. The assembly, checking for leaks, (there were none) and installation to our Rhino took just 30 minutes! 30 minutes later, our 2.5 acre pasture was completely treated with 2-4 D. What a fantastic unit! Performed as advertised. I highly recommend this sprayer!"

Outstanding,

"I bought this sprayer after doing a ton of research, talking to others who have ATV sprayers and reading the many positive reviews on this model (and the 16 gallon version which appear to be identical minus the tank size). I will say that many other people I know who have bought sprayers were skeptical of the wand-type one nozzle sprayer this has vs. a boom with multiple nozzles but after using this sprayer I can honestly say it works as good as a boom sprayer. By far the best sprayer for the price. Some of the reviews mentioned problems with leaks at the fittings but if you know how to use plumber's tape (if required) and how to tighten fittings you will have no problems with this sprayer (only 1 fitting leaked on mine which was easily fixed after tightening the fitting). The hand sprayer is a bonus compared to the competition and this is one versitile sprayer/broadcaster."

Boomless Sprayer,
July 22, 2009

"I like this sprayer for a number of reasons. One its is very easy to install and remove from my 4 wheeler. Two it can cover a large area quickly. Three there are no booms to get tangle up in things like trees or fences. Four it does not take up much room when not in use. And five it is very easy to use .The only bad thing I could say about it is that some of the chemicals I spray with need a little more control for application, the broadcast nozzle is so high off the ground compared to a conventional boom and it can drift easily if it is windy. I've sprayed severaly different chemicals and cover quite a few acres for this size of sprayer in the short time I've had it. All in all I would say it is a great product for anyone who knows how to use it correctly."

"I find this sprayer to be an excellent value for the money. If your are thinking about one of the smaller sprayers, the 26 gal. is well worth the money. Does very well on the back of my lawn tractor and also I moved the broad cast bracket from the tank to the top of my tail gate on my pickup and it sprays very well in the pasture. Thats with the windows up and the AC on.
Also, I was a little worried as it was back ordered and Northern delivered within three or four days from when I ordered it. Great job Northern Tool!"
