Excellent Sprayer That Stands Up Over Time,

"I purchased this sprayer several years back for use on six acres surrounding my home. I live in Alabama and growth from vines and such is prolific here, quickly taking over fences. We also have an abundance of biting insects and poisonous snakes - which brings up why I purchased this sprayer.
The 26 gallon tank is great for placement in my Cub Cadet ATV and the size means only two fillings of Roundup, in solution with the proper amount of water, is needed to spray the chain link fence surrounding my property. Without treatment, my fence would quickly be overtaken by unwanted growth to become a haven for snakes and other problems. The sprayer is powerful and easily adjustable, and has performed this task twice a year with out flaw since purchase. The wand is of an easily handled size and doesn't leak. The hose is also more than long enough for comfortable use, and I usually never unwind it completely from the tank during use. The spray pattern is easily and quickly adjustable from mist to stream as needed.
I also use this spayer with Malathion and other insect poisons on my property as needed. This has resulted in effective insect control. For this, the sprayer sees much more duty as it is good for not only spraying my shrubs but for my fruit trees as well.
The pump shuts off until the spray trigger is pulled by sensing the line pressure, or you can simply shut it off using the switch on the power cord. I removed the two aligator clips and easily replaced them with a power adapter for my standard 30 Amp dash power outlet - this makes the power connection a real breeze.
The large well-sealing cap on top makes pouring in chemicals easy and without spills. There is also a small drain cap on one end that makes cleaning and draining for storage more simple. After hundreds of uses, including different growth and pest control chemicals, my unit still looks and performs like it did brand new. I just rinse it clean and circulate clean water through the pump after each use. The unit is light and easily setup and tied down with nylon 1 1/2" tie-down band straps. The tank is heavy gauge and sturdy. The pump has also proven very sturdy. With a proper rear hydraulic lift plate, this unit would also be excellent for use on either my Grand L 3100 Kubota or the BX2350 Kubota I use in maintaining my property at home.
I couldn't be more pleased with mine, and it beats the tar out of any other sprayer I have ever owned. All of the others always had some problem soon after purchase, and a number of them were more expensive. This NorthStar unit has proven itself well worth the price I paid, and I expect it will continue working well for a long time. In between uses, I still store it in the cardboard box it came in, and the sprayer has never shown its age."

"What an excellent product...I have severe arthritis. It was very difficult for me to get around, pulling a hose to water plants and my gardens. I was resigned to give up my hobby when my son suggested your spot sprayer.
What an easy to use, practical product this is. I have it setting on my trailor, which I pull with my riding mower. It easily fills at the outside tap, very easy hook up to the mower battery, and off I drive. There is an easy to use and very nice long length of hose as the sprayer, with easy push button sprayer head, which adjusts in stream width. I am able to do all of my gardens twice each day with the one fill up. It could not be more user friendly, especially for any with disabilities. I am even able to fill the chicken waterers without carrying them to the house.
It is well made, easy to use, and very practical!

"This sprayer work great, light weight when dry for portablily. Works just as stated in product description. I suggest buying a sprayer boom with it if your spraying large areas; as mine did not come with one. It only had a spot sprayer with it."

"The ATV Spot sprayer is a great product for the money. I live on a large ranch and we use it for weed killing and bug spray. The factory hose is short for an ATV sprayer so I recommend getting a longer hose. The pump is very powerful and the unit cleans up with ease"

"Sprayer works as indicated in description. Well worth the money, arrived in a few days, easy to assemble & mount. I use it on a golf cart and on an ATV to spray 8 acres at home & 75 acres of pines. I have sprayed several hundred gallons with no problems. I would like a longer hose & better hose clamps."

"The Sprayer works Great. I'm using it on my 4 acres for spraying fence and ditch lines. I used a different set of ratchet straps to secure to my Honda 350 Rancher ATV. I should have listen, when everyone talked about the hose clips leaking, But that was easily fixed with a little teflon tape. Removed the power supply clips and wired to battery with a 2 wire plug. With a little 24-D and a few gallons of water, I'm now a "Weed Killing Machine". No more "Hot, Long Hours" of weed eating for me."
