Sprayer,
July 21, 2009
By RhinoRod
from Modesto, California

"Purchased 3 years ago and still going strong, great for roundup and herbicides. Love the sprayer...meets and exceedes expectations. I have 15 acres of pasture land and use it on thistles and about 1/2 acre of lawn, with all the edges and borders to maintain, would buy it again in a heartbeat."

"I thought this item worked very well. I liked the way it fit on the back of my quad. It cleaned up very easy. It was easy to use. The directions were easy to understand. I thought one of the plastic fittings could have been a better design it seemed a little flimsy. The price was very resonable."

Reliable,

By kodiac

"I have probably sprayed over 1000 gallons so far, mainly right of ways and power lines and no hang ups. Just runs and sprays as long as you have chemicals mixed for it to spray. Would by another just like it if this one ever quits."

"I received the product & started puttint it together and notice that they was a broken peice with the unit. I called the service center told them the problem and they sent me a relacement part at no charge. I have been using the product ever since for my lawn to spray fertilizer. Great product and would buy another if this one breaks or might upgrade to a pull type sprayer..."

Great residential sprayer,
October 20, 2009
By Interpreter
from Eatonville WA
|
"I love this sprayer! We take it all over our 4 acres and I can spot spray or broadcast spray depending on the need. Because of the pump and the pressure of the spray, one can go through more solution than necessary if not careful though. The broadcast tip is not screwed on ( glued?). It fell off soon and easily, but we were able to acquire a tougher replacement by calling customer support. Although we had to replace the broadcast tip fairly soon, this is a fairly inexpensive sprayer, so overall I am more than satisfied with the performance of this product and would highly recommend it for residential use. Be sure to use plumber's tape on the threads before assembly to prevent leaking!"

Unreliable,
August 4, 2009
By PalouseRoadRunner

"Within the first 2 hours of use the pressure switch failed, and it wouldn't run. North Star sent a replacement part and it works fine. However, the plastic ball valve for the broadcast sprayer doesn't shut off so you have to plumb in another ball valve to take care of it. The compression fittings on the broadcast sprayer are worthless and you leak chemical from them. A few adjustments took care of that. After that it worked fine until the wand came apart from the handle. A few tweaks took care of that problem. Overall, it works, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone that has to use it more than a few times a year."

Reliable and efficient,
July 22, 2009
By UncleBull

"Purchased this by web site before you opened your Jacksonville, FL store. I have used it behind my JD tractor for several years for pesticides, herbicides, concrete sealers - everything but paint. It performs very well and most important , the spray valve has not failed even with heavy use of bleaching solutions. Great product, thank you."

sprayer,
July 20, 2009
By chuckzimmer
from Peebles, Ohio
|
"I recently purchased this sprayer to mount on my a.t.v. After mounting it on the back, I decided to put it on the front instead. It fit like a glove. The sprayer is everything and more then I expected. It comes with heavy duty mounting hardware, and the pump itself is very strong. I had the weeds on my 10 acres sprayed in about a half day. I put several abusing hours on this sprayer with no trouble what so ever. Taking the sprayer off for future use is also a breeze. It packs away in it's original box for carefree storage. I highly recomend this item."
