The worlds first cordless chain saw is packed with enough power to cut up to 93 pieces of 1 3/4in. hardwood from a single charge. The 4 1/2in. cutting blade slices firewood and can trim branches and small trees without the hassle of cords or gas.

"I have had my Makita Cordless Chain Saw for a year and I can say it is a hard worker and well worth every penny. Our house is 100 percent wood heated and the Makita does 85 percent of the fire wood cutting plus the pruning chores mantaining 40 acres of trees. It cuts dried hard wood with ease. It is light and easy to carry. Their are only two problems with the Makita. One is it is hard for one person alone to remove the battery, and everyone wants to use it and not the other saws."

"This cordless chain saw is extremely effective. I have used it extensively to cut firewood. It's lightweight, so I don't tire holding it. I've also carried it in the trunk of my car and been able to stop on the side of the road and cut and collect firewood instantly."
