Deluxe Steering Wheel Spinner Clearly Superior,

"Northern Tool offers two spinner knobs, the deluxe Model# KH9181 and what I found to be a standard type of knob which is widely available. The Northern Tool deluxe model is clearly superior for several reasons. First of all, it mounts using a sturdy cast alumnium clamshell type clamp with one strong bolt, instead of a couple pieces stamped out of sheet metal with loose nuts and bolts, so assembly is literally a snap. Also, unlike lesser models, the smooth clamp places the knob outside rather than on top of the wheel. This design not only avoids clamp parts that could end up being a hazzard, it also gives significantly increased leverage since the knob is located farther from the center of the wheel. It's almost like power-steering! A thick rubber insert helps the clamp grip the wheel securely without scratching or otherwise damaging its surface. The knob and stem are large and high enough to keep your fingers above the steering wheel, and the textured top completes the factors which make for a good grip and and flawless operation. It is well worth the small premium over the common standard design, and the very fair price for this superior product. While I bought the steering wheel spinner knob because I had injured a hand and temporarily needed to steer with one hand, I have no doubt that I will keep using it because it really does improve the steering and handling of my lawn tractor immensely, even if it's not green."

"Install the nut on the inside of the steering wheel. I have had wheel spinners in the past where it was clamped on each side of the steering wheel. It would catch my paints of even i would whack my knuckles on my other hand.
This Wheel Spinner I like. I use it in my Ford E-250. Not ever did the Police ( when i got pulled over for speeding ) say anything about the Wheel Spinner on my steering wheel.Cost is not a factor. When you are happy with something $2 or $3 dollars more or less does not matter."

"I have over 1 1/2 acres to mow. I purchased the Steering wheel spinner for my 42" Craftsman lawn tractor. It is great ,especially if one has to make a lot of turns. It is very easy to Install and NOW all my neighbors want one.."

"I put this on one of the new Cub Cadet i1050 zero-turn garden tractors. I was very happy with the tractor before, but with this addition: I'm In Love! Fits the larger diameter steering wheel grip. I had to add some locktite a few weeks after first installing it, as the nut wouldn't stay tight. I also had to use a c-clamp to install it with the rubber spacer material that was included, as it needed nore squeeze than I could provide with one hand while installing the nut. Works great!"
