Hit or Miss with Apex Never Kink,
June 19, 2009

"I literally have a dozen Apex hoses, about half are NeverKink, and the other half are the Apex Industrial-Duty red rubber hot water hose.
But I have had a lot of problems with the NeverKink. 1st: it gets very hot on a sunny day, which makes the water inside of the hose extremely hot. This heat softens the hose, and the water pressure then expands the hose. My 3/4" hoses are well over 1" in diameter now. Great for water flow, but bad for a hose.
After you turn the water off, the stretched NeverKink has the consistency of a wet noodle, and KINKS LIKE CRAZY. In addition I have had several bulges appear in my Neverkink even though the hoses are never left sitting on the ground to be run over or damaged. Instead I use a rapid real and my hoses are all in new condition, except for the mentioned problems.
However, my Apex Industrial-Duty red rubber hot water hoses have performed great, even though we use them side by side the NeverKink. The Apex red rubber hose, never leaks, kinks or has bulges, and is still the same size as when it was new years ago. So forget the Neverkink and go for the Apex Industrial-Duty red rubber hot water hose."

"This hose is the only way to go if you are using a pressure washer. It is heavy duty and ensures that your pump does not starve for water."

"Female coupling end had damaged threads, couldn't wait for a return. Just used some extra washers. For the price, quality control just missed the mark!"

Max Flow,

"This is how a hose should be made. Nice, heavy duty brass couplers. The 3/4 in. ID will allow max flow if you don't use quick-connects. Really Solid construction materials. It'll get the Kink out of your life, too. You may never go back to the cheep green stuff."
