Excellent Trailer,
March 24, 2007

"I picked up my new trailer today and was amazed at how well it is built. The main cross axel is built out of heavy tube steel. I had to put it together myself but found it very easy to do. They use heavy duty bults with lock nutts. It uses bearing's in the weels for smother rolling and less wear. Over all, it is a great trailer. I would recommend it to anyone. Stop by your local Northern Store and check it out. They have them on display."

More than I expected,
March 8, 2007
By TMartina

"For starters, this thing is HUGE. Much bigger than I had anticipated. I haven't tried yet but I could probably fit a third of a cord of wood in it easy. That's a good thing. Actually much more room in the bed than I'll ever need. Assembly took me a half hour tops. Very easy to put together. They thought this out when they designed it. Also, ground clearance is much better than the competing models. That is important for me since this is going to be used on trails and in the woods. Large wheels are a real plus, too. Solidly built unit.
This is a real workhorse of a cart and it only weighs about 125 pounds so it increases your towing capacity. No complaints yet and we have put it through the paces. Highly recommended. Outperforms much more expensive models I have looked at. Couldn't be happier."

Polar ATV Trailer - 1500LB #8233,

By EagleHill

"First, the Customer Service team at Northern did a great job of helping me sort out mistakes with the shipping company. Service is huge because of where I live (Thanks!). The trailer is everything advertised and more. I have steep hills so the stability and tracking are excellent even with a load. The ability to broadcast the load is a back-saver. The directions and assembly are very straight forward (excellent design). I was initially concerned about the strength of the trailer, but after literally throwing everything at it, I'm a believer. If you have a large property, this is a "must-have"!"

Polar 1500 LB ATV Trailer,
July 20, 2009
By Rod330

"I purchased one of these units about 4 or 5 years ago. Assembly was somewhat difficult because the instructions and the assembly hardware did not match up. I think it was the result of a model change but it was frustrating to have to go to the hardware store to buy the correct nuts, washers and bolts. Once it was together, it worked perfectly. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago a nasty storm caused a monster tree limb to crash into the trailer and crack open the tub. ARGH ! So, I ordered a new one from Northern. This time, the assembly was a breeze and took less than 30 minutes. I noticed several nice design improvements in the new version as well. The tub does not feel as thick and sturdy of the old version but it should hold up fine. I'd recommend this trailer to others."

Does Everything but Dump,
July 20, 2009
By AzCowboy

"I have had my trailer for 6 months and found the high rating generally deserved. The only drawback is the inability to dump loads cleanly. I haul a lot of sawdust for horse bedding. Since the back end is so low, the sawdust does not flow out, rather it must be shoveled out. Other than that, this is a nice implement."

"Purchased this trailer a month ago. It was easy to assemble and the quality of the product is excellent! I pull it behind my ATV when doing trail maintence. It's built like a tank. Recommend purchase of the ball hitch with trailer, makes for a more secure track."

Polar 1500,
July 2, 2009
By rdog

"This is a darn good ATV trailer, I am using it to help build roads and clear timber in steep high allitude wilderness in the Union Pass area of Wyoming. I thought about going with the 1200 because of narrow atv trails but I am happy I went with the 1500 because of the load capacity and stability. It is light enough to man handle around but tough enough to hall a full load of dirt or suprisingly even rock. It has almost paid for it self in time saved taking loads to the burn piles. I've loaded it with rocks bigger than should be hauled with it and it snapped and popped and but some how it didnt bust and can haul water too. The only one problem was one 1/2 inch hole wasn't drilled when I recieved it. It's like a good big ATV Tonka toy."

Polar Sport Off Road ATV Trailer,
June 16, 2009
By CarolynB

"I really like this little trailer. It pulls great and hauls alot of weight. I've loaded it up with both wood and manure and haven't overloaded it yet. The dump feature is great, it could be easier to latch after dumping. Sometimes the latch doesn't catch and it doesn't operate easily with one hand."

Very satisfied,
May 18, 2009

"I bought this trailer with the intent of using it for firewood and grounds maintenance and it has met my expectations. So far I have hauled about four cord of wood both out of the woods and after it was split and have had no issues at all. It rolls very easy and does not seem affected by larger loads. I am very happy I went with the larger cart as I do not think the smaller one would have been worth it. It is true that it will not completely self empty when dumped but I am happy too trade that off for the larger capacity it provides. I would recomend getting the ball hitch as it just speeds everything up. Delivery was very quick (four days)."
