Awesome piece of equipment,

"I got one of these to hopefully pull some hackberry trees from one of my fence lines. This thing worked better than I could have hoped. Once you get the technique down, it's a simple matter of applying upward pressure. This thing would literally pull out a 3" diameter hackberry by all of the roots.
Slow even pressure keeps the thing from slipping off the tree.
I am now considering buying the big one."

Brush Grubber does the job,

"The heavy duty brush grubber worked well at helping my tractor and chain to pull young trees out of the ground that measured between 2 and 5 inches in diameter. The effectiveness seems to depend on the weight of the tractor and the root system of the tree. I thought the heavy duty brush grubber was easy to use. I might buy a smaller one for smaller saplings."
