Great for muddy footwear, November 2, 2009

"I purchased this shoe brush after reading reviews here and at other Web sites. The Scrusher brush is well made and very sturdy. Works great on sneakers and boots after gardening.

Note that the unit must be mounted, either on a board for portability or in a permanent location, such as near a door. If on a portable board, the board should stick out at least five or six inches on each side, so that you can stand on it with one shoe while cleaning the other shoe.

Replacement brushes are available directly from the manufacturer or through various online sites. However, the brushes are good quality and probably don't need replacing very often."

"This brush has recently replaced a product that was not even comparable. I work at an engineering company and we have quite a few field people who trudge through alot of mud, etc. and so far the bristles are holding up very well. This is a quality product and hope to get alot of use out of it. We also purchased the replacement bristles at the same time so we expect to use this product for years."
