NorthStar Waltersheid PTO Generator Driveline — 60 HP

ASAE Class 3 regular duty driveline features 1 3/8 in. dia. 6 spline quick-release female inputs on both ends, cable stop to prevent separation of driveline halves, grease zerks plus a non-rotating shield. 15 in. of telescoping up to 50.9 in. cross to cross. Rated for 60 HP at a 10° angle of operation. 49 in. L x 7 in. W x 7 in. H overall. For use on 540 RPM applications. Use on our #165929 or with #16471 when #164421 is also purchased.

Heavy duty driveline for PTO generator, August 11, 2008

"I bought this driveline to go with the PTO generator I purchased from Northern Tool. I debated between this one and various models I could purchase locally for less money.

Boy am I happy I purchased this one!

The driveshaft arrived quickly from Northern Tool and was packaged well.

The u-joints used on this drivline are quite sturdy. They appear to be much more durable than those of the lesser priced models I found at the local supply house.

Driveline hooked right up to both my generator and tractor.

I feel very confident that with regular grease and maintenance, this driveline will last a lifetime.

I have no worries about the driveline failing and flying apart while in use."

"The dirveline is excellent quality and should serve well for a long time. The shaft was actually too long for the generator application and was missing one of the zerk fittings. Also the attached chain only connects to one end, Need a longer chain and a connection point."
