Great generator for the $, November 2, 2009

"I bought this unit to replace an 1970's model 3000watt Honda that was no longer large enough to handle modern household loads. This Generac generator was the same price I paid for the Honda in the early 70's and it starts and runs beautifully without oscillating at all unless you hit it with a large load and then it settles right back to normal. I would recommend buying an electric start like this one because in very cold weather it has to be a hard pull manually.

"This was our second unit purchased in the past 6 months. We are very satisfied with the operation, the ease of assembly and noise level. While it is louder than our larger units, it is quieter than others we looked at. Would definitely recommend this product."
