OUTSTANDING COMMERCIAL GENERATOR, December 29, 2008

"LET ME STATRT OFF BY SAYING THAT THIS GENERATOR IS OVERBUILT IN EVERY WAY. THE UNIT ARRIVED AND ONLY NEEDED THE STARTER CABLE (DISCONNECTED FOR SHIPPING) AND WHEEL KIT INSTALLED. THE AXLE FOR THE WHEEL KIT IS SOLID STEEL AND WEIGHS SEVERAL POUNDS. I ADDED THE ENGINE OIL THAT WAS INCLUDED WITH THE GENERATOR AND HAD THE UNIT UP AND RUNNING IN ABOUT 10 MINUTES. GENERAC ALSO SUPPLIED A HEAVY 30 AMP CORD WITH FOUR RECEPTACLS AND A FULL MAITENANCE KIT CONTAINING AN EXTRA AIR FILTER, OIL FILTER AND SPARK PLUG. THE GENERATORS CONTROL PANEL FEATURES A RECEPTACLE FOR A CHARGER TO SUPPLY THE BATTERY WITH A TRICKLE CHARGE WHEN THE UNIT IS NOT IN USE. THE UNITS BEEFY 1.25 IN TUBING SURROUNDS THE ENGINE AND VITAL COMPONENTS. THE FOLDING HANDLES MAKE IT EASY TO MANUVER THE UNIT AROUND. PUSH TWO SPRING LOADED BUTTONS AND THE HANDLES FOLD DOWN AND OUT OF THE WAY FOR STORAGE( THERE ARE NO COTTER PINS TO REARRANGE OR LOSE ). I HAVE PLACED CONSIDERABLE LOAD ON THE UNIT (REFRIGERATOR, PELLET STOVE,SUMP PUMP, FUNACE, SURROUD SOUND,TV AND SEVERAL LIGHTS) WITHOUT ANY POWER FLUCUATION OR STRAIN NOTICED. WITH GENERAC YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR !!!"
