"I bought this a week after Hurricane Ike. I used it for 8 days to power up my house. In my 2100 sq ft home it had plenty of power to run everything but the central air and electric dryer. I had it wired into the breaker panel with the 220 outlet and had no issues running a fridge, freezer, hair dryer, and as many lights as I wanted for over a week. On top of that I was running a window unit in my bedroom off a 110 outlet at the same time.
It has a run time counter which is handy for know when to change oil. It also has electric start, but it never took more than one pull to get it running. The 7 gallon tank ran for about 10-12 hours no problem. I also like that it has a 12v output. I also liked that the wheel and handle kit was included.
This generator isn't the quietest I've heard, but it was way quieter than the Briggs and Stratton unit my parents ran.
The only minor issue I had was the linkage on the choke lever slipped apart once. Took me about 3 min to diagnose and fix the problem."
