Great little machine, March 7, 2007
By QrcInc from Abaco, Bahamas

"I brought this generator to the Bahamas, where electric power is unreliable, and unavailable in some locations. I'm building a shed in the woods where it is unavailable. This relatively low power (1200 W MAX) generator has been able to run all my power tools and cordless rechargers, very quietly and efficiently. It also is capable of running my small portable refrigerator, television, stereo, and just about anything else I need. I have a 350 W Honda that I bought several years ago, that cost me much more. I don't know where else you could get this much value for your money. I have two of them for myself, and have bought two more for friends. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"

"I have a small farm and I use this generator to power all my power tools away form the shop. It does an excellent job, starts easy and runs quiet. For the money it can't be beat."

good when it works, November 2, 2009
By MountainK from Richmond, VA

"This is my second one of these generators and I'm afraid that I'll need to return it for a third. When it works, it does a great job. But starting it can be a real pain. If you are lucky, it will take a few primer pulls and then kick over and start. Sometimes you have to pull it numerous times before it show any sign of kicking on. And there are other times when no matter what you do, it just won't start. This range of possibilities makes the generator unreliable if you are depending on it. Too bad because it's a great little generator when it wants to run and a major pain when it doesn't."

ETQ Generator, October 26, 2009
By Outlander from Rochester New York

"We have owned and used an ETQ for 3 camping seasons. We also purchased one as a gift for our Son.These generators worked great right out of the box. Last year I used the generator at a friends cabin in the Adirondack Mountatns at a temperature of 2 below zero. It started on the third pull and ran heat tape to unfreeze the camp's water line. It is used to charge our camper's battery and run the toaster. This little generator is a GREAT value."

1000w ETI generator, October 21, 2009
By CousinWill from Southbury, CT

"This is a good generator for what it is, a small generator. I've used it several times at the race track without any problems. A little hard to start sometimes if it has been sitting for a long time. Once running it is fine and restarts fine. Not noisy at all. I checked the voltage and it runs consistently at 119-120v, no big swings in voltage."

ETQ Portable Generator, October 19, 2009
By ParrotHead81 from Upstate NY

"Perfect generator for camping, tailgating and small jobs. This generator is surprisingly quiet, light enough to carry, low cost and a compact size. Used it to run drills, saws, hair dryers and small appliances and it handled them fine. Only problems I have found is that it takes a few extra pulls to get it started. Once it runs for a few seconds and then turned off it starts back up on the first pull. Because it is compact and light weight it is easy to throw in the car and quiet enough to talk while it is running unlike normal size generators."
