Versatile Paumco Products Quick Spade Combo attachment mounts on skid loader, front end loader or compact tractor. Also can be placed onto standard forks or buckets. Use to plant trees, move boulders, remove stumps, dig trenches, build a boulder wall and more. U.S.A.
"I call this a quick shovel. It works great on my Kubota 4610 tractor bucket. It is great when you need to dig a quick small hole or many. I used it at our tree farm planting palms out of 7 gal pots. 2 scoops and you are done. It is easy to attach but you do need the raccheting chain binder with chain and a sepperate piece of chain about 6 to 10 inches long makes the hook up easier."

Digs holes quick,May 27, 2009

"I am very pleased with the Quick Spade Combo. It fit on the edge of the front loader on my 35 hp Cub Cadet Yanmar tractor nicely, but you do have to supply your own chain and binder to secure it. After some practice, I got the bucket angle correct and was able to dig holes for all of my new trees very quickly."

A Waste of Money,May 1, 2009

"I purchased this item to transplant some small trees. The spade will simply not dig into the ground. I even soaked the soil with water and used a hand shovel to give this spade a start. It is useless to dig a hole. I returned the item to Northern Tool. I would strongly discourage anyone from purchasing this item."

Concentrates Power,November 2, 2008

"I've been out popping out scrub trees and boulders. It would have taken hours to dig them out without this attachment. I was done in minutes. Great attachment, but it requires chain and chain tightener to be purchased separately."

Quick Spade,August 11, 2008
By geomanisintensefrom Bellevue, Michigan
"I purchased the spade to help remove nuissance shrubbery from my farm fields. The tool is very easy to use once mounted to the tractor bucket. I liked this tool because: As long as I knew how to operate the bucket on my tractor, the tools was very easy to use. it made quick work of removing the bushes. It is very sturdy, I removed closed to 500 autumn olive bushes so far, and have not seen a bend in the steel or crack in any of the welds. Problems with the tool: You need to use some long heavy chains and chain binders to keep the tool attached to the bucket. Takes a little getting used to when digging boulders from the field. I recommend this tool for doing odd jobs around the farm. This tool may work best on a bobcat type tractor."

Spade combo,August 11, 2008

"Great product. Use this everywhere in the farm for digging holes, moving rocks, roots. It's faster than using a backhoe at times; saves my helpers and me countless time. NT should offer the carrier chain along with the item--saves time to order from another source."

Quick Spade Combo,March 13, 2008
By RogerWfrom Minnesota and Georgia
"I have been in the landscaping world for almost 14 years and when I saw this product last fall. I knew I had to have it. It has saved me so much time and so much labor cost. That I now look for the jobs that have a ton of digging involved with it because I know no one will be able to out price me. Now I can't do every landscaping job out there. So I thought I would let you know this product is amazing. It's easy to hook up to, you can dig a hole in seconds and it will save one person every job. The best part about the unit is there is no more back breaking shoveling or having to bring a second unit to do one job. The Quick Spade Combo was my choice because it is a bigger unit and it goes on the fork's or the bucket! But if you only use forks. The quick spade is the way to go. This great store just got the best product ever."
