It's cheap,

"It works for smaller projects: I used it for a couple of 12sqft landings, and it worked fine. Had to go with a heavier-duty model for a 400sqft pad."

poor quality,

"I bought one of these thinking it would be ideal for the 300' of concrete sidewalks I was going to be doing. The first time I used it to pour 5 cu.yds. of concrete it did work ok. A week later I poured the second section and it wouldn't vibrate at all. The drill motor still works but even after dismantleing the vibrator, inspecting and lubricating it, I couldn't find any thing wrong except it wouldn't vibrate. I still have it hanging, beside my $300 one I ended up buying, as a reminder that sometimes it doesn't pay to go cheap."

concrete countertops,

"I bought this for use with concrete countertops. It works pretty well but a little violent at times. It would probably be perfect for bigger projects, but does make a noticeable difference as opposed to just using a pad sander on the form. I started off with limited funds and this was very affordable."
