"My complaints are that the manual is very poorly done (hand drawn). It skipped some steps in the assembly process. Most of the steps were not that complicated, but they should be included sequentially in the assembly process. Also, the paint job lasted about 15 minutes before chipping, peeling, then coming off altogether on the inside. Lastly, adjusting the chain tension is very difficult to do. The tension bolts could stand to be in a lot better position to access.
Once up and running the mixer worked well for hours straight without a hitch. It handled four 80 pound bags of premix easily. We did not try more, but feel it could have handled at least a couple more. PTO powered, plus it's portability make it a valuable piece of equipment around the farm. Despite the minor issues I have with it, I would buy it again knowing what I know."

"I live on a 30 acre farm that has been neglected for 40 years or more and along with my wife, have been constantly working to reclaim the land and relandscape it as well.
This is where the Farm Star Cement Mixer shines.
Portability: With our category 1 tractor, we just hook it up to our 3-point hitch and take the mixer to the job site to pour cement wherever it's needed.
Durability: The 11 gauge steel drum is strong enough to withstand all the abuse a normal workday can dish out.
Capacity: The 5 cu. ft. of material it holds is usually more than enough for most of the projects that require cement."
