Great when you don't need a dump,

"This is a well designed tool that allows me to quickly unload a small load when a dump truck is not practical. I mainly use it for grass clippings when I mow commerically which it unloads with a breeze. It's nice and stable when driving and easy to remove."

"Purchased the load handler 3k with some doubts. if it worked great, but if it didn't, not only disappointed, but more work to do and less cash. installed per instructions and placed optional mat down. Went and picked up a load of crush and run. Guy loading truck questioned if you would be able to crank off the load. Well needless to say I did with ease and so did the wife. Went back for another load, had both picked up and spread in less than an hour and a half. Great product!!"

Might be OK for unloading feathers,

"I've been trying to use this unloader with dry compost-- not too wet and pretty fluffy. Even with a slippery undermat, this thing cannot pull hard enough. You need to half-unload the truck by hand before you can use this unloader. So far, I've bent the left tailgate bracket and torn the tape that attaches the mat to the axle. The left tailgate clip always falls off when you drop the tailgate and it's impossible to reattach with the tailgate down. Please buy my unloader for $1."

Pretty good for a simple device,

"I carry about 3000# of shelled corn or dry beans. This loads the bed of the truck almost to the top of the side walls. When I unload a lot of the material is left on the truck bed in front of and to the rear of the wheel wells. So there is a lot of clean up after the unloading process. The actural unloading is quick and without problems.
Also, I unload into a bin with low side walls. This doesn't allow me to use the suppled unloading bar so I made an adapter that allows me to use my 3/4" socket ratchet using short back and forth strokes so that I don't have to make a full cicle with the supplied unloading bar. Other than the material left behind and the fact that my situation doesn't allow me to use the supplied unloading bar, the unit makes unloading fairly quickly."

Not more back breaking for me,

"I have the crazy love of gardening, and never seem to have enough soil in my own yard to plant veggie's and flowers in. Besides myself and dear hubby aren't spring chickens anymore. And the thought of unloading soil by hand is just too much work anymore. And can't do the soil in the bags, I would go broke for the amount that I want. So as I was browsing thru online searching for products for my greenhouse I came across this. Just had to give it a try hoping that this would be the ultimate item to help unload bulk soil... Have to let you know this IS the best ever, we installed it, which was a breeze. Went to get soil, got a dump bucket full, got home and just started unrolling it right into the wheelbarrel.. Then right where I needed it. What more can I say... I just love it.... oh just a quick note, make sure you get the double bed mat too, It really helps it slide smoothly.
Happy Gardening!!"
