"has divider inside, for different size batteries, self locking, and tied down strap included. lid locks so it doesn't fly off if strap come loose. far better grade box, than those red and white ones."

"I purchased this to house a deep cycle solar system 12 volt battery that I have outside. The box is weatherproof with the lid on. I have purchased these in the past (for a canoe and for a boat) and I have to say that this unit is very high quality plastic and thick too. It is definately rugged and will keep any fluids from leaking out during charging or an accident and will keep your battery dry if water is poured over it with the lid on. If you have ever seen a 12 volt battery tip over and spark like a welder while the two terminals touch metal, then you would know exactly why you should never store or carry or transport a battery without a battery box to protect it and yourself. Also if you have an aluminum boat and you have a battery in it, a plastic box is a MUST HAVE to avoid a big accident if the battery ever tips over. Its a cheap no brainer."

"Would rcommend this product. Batteries are kept out of sight and free of outside elements. Our battery for our electric wench is kept in this case for safety and protection."

"Just your basic battery box. The only thing a little sub par is the strap hold downs. Theyre made of plastic, and if your really try and tighten them they will break."
