"I am a industrial forklift mechanic road technician to let you know my background. Anyway I get the privlage of going to school for training once a month for a week and at the training facility they have this exact set so that is what prompted me to buy them, with many people using these in training i figured that they had to be tuff. Well I purchaced them from northern and had them delivered to my home and they arrived in just three days from the day i placed the order. Now on to the tools, AMAZING!!! As you can imagine forklifts are put through a lot of abuse and these sockets can handle the abuse!! I have used them on many different applications and they will definatly stand abuse, major abuse. I have a 1/2" drive impact gun that has a torque of 1100 ft. pounds and sometimes I have to really hammer on some of these stuborn nuts and bolts and they have not failed me yet! In closing I think these impact sockets are just as good as high priced name brand at a fraction of the cost! Great job northern tools!"

"I've owned this set and the SAE equivalent for many years now and they are really hard to fault. The sockets fit nuts and bolts very well with no tendency to round heads even under severe and sustained impact. The range of sizes that Northern has elected to include suit my purposes exactly. Only the appearance and rough texture of the these robust tools keep me from rating them 5 stars.
Several of my friends have subsequently ordered this set after having used mine."

"Purchased set due to price of individual sockets I needed being almost same as this kit. Numbers are easy to read and sockets seem plenty stout for standard half inch drive impact gun. Sockets fit snugly on both gun and hardware."
